My Gift to You! And WW Linkup!

Forgive U Cover

Christmas is the season for giving, because our Lord and Savior came to earth as a babe in a manger—ultimately giving His life for us on the cross!

That’s why I want to give to you, my Messy Marriage subscribers, a gift that I’ve been feverishly working on for months. I thought it would be a quick process, but nothing in my life right now is “quick!” But then, that’s rather appropriate because neither is the process of “Forgiveness”—which is what this gift is all about!

I’ve finally finished my Forgive U e-book that is based upon more than six-months of posts I shared on the subject of forgiveness, starting November 20, 2013 and going through June of 2014.

Too bad you can’t see my happy dance right now! You’d either laugh yourself silly or feel immensely superior to my sup-bar dancing skills! 😉 Either way … I feel like celebrating!

All you have to do to get this 25 chapter beast of an e-book is either subscribe to Messy Marriage if you haven’t already, Or if you’re already one of my “messy peeps” (translation – “current subscribers”), then rest assured that it will be delivered to your email account by tomorrow, December 17th!

As I mentioned last week, this will be my last linkup for Wedded Wednesday until Wednesday, January 7th. I’m taking a much-needed blogging break and turning my attention to family and friend-focused events. It’s time that is in short-supply for me these days—with the growing demands of this blog and other ministries that it has spawned.

I do hope that ALL of you have a blessed and Merry Christmas! If I don’t get around to visiting your blogs this week, know that I truly love each and every one of you who visit this space. It is my joy to call you my friends!

I’d love to hear how you’re going to be spending the holidays!

So tell me …

Are taking a blogging break and for how long?

Where are you going over the holidays, or who is coming to visit you at your place?

  1. What a S W E E T gift! And much needed for most of us. ‘Cause who among us hasn’t had to deal with this whole issue of forgiveness? Over and over.
Yep, I’m going on a blog break this weekend for a week or two or whatever. I need, I want, to be very much present for all the big and little family members that I’m going to be hanging with. And I need to simply do as Mary did all those years ago … sit and ponder all the hard to understand wonders of who God is.
Much love to you, dear Beth. I only wish we could celebrate together in person.

    1. Thanks so much for your kind words, Linda! And yes, I agree! Forgiveness is such a hard issue to wrap our brains and hearts around. I’m just so glad Jesus led and continues to lead the way for us each and every day, for each and every hurt and wounded relationship. So glad to hear that you’re taking a break! I know this has to be a very special Christmas for you and your family! And I too want to soak up many of my mornings with the Lord. What a blessing that awaits us, right, Linda! And as far as celebrating together … I’m celebrating with you in spirit, my sweet bloggy buddy!

    1. You don’t know the half of it, Becky! I truly feel so glad that this is behind me. Now if I can just figure out how to get Mailchimp to do what I want it to do! Ha! I do feel like I’m monkeying around every time I have to tackle a technology issue! I’m so glad you’re going to focus on your family and don’t kill yourself if “pushing through” means blogging even as so many other bloggers/readers take a break, my girlfriend! Merry Christmas to you too!

  4. Yay Beth, wohoo! congratulations!! I know how incredibly hard it is to write a book and release it! i remember working months on end on my eBook, and now a year working on the latest project. I will be taking a break from blogging but not from writing entirely as i prepare to launch my marriage book next February. Have a very blessed Christmas too! Enjoy your time with family and friends!

    1. I know! I’m so excited for you as well, girlfriend! I can’t wait to help you in whatever way possible on your launch team–including highlighting your book here at Messy Marriage. You name the way you want to do that – guest post, giveaway, or letting me to do a book review! I also have at least one other book project on my desk. It’s one that I can’t wait to get to, but means I will be deciding on how to move forward here. I’m not saying that Messy Marriage is going away! Oh no! But my engagement is going to be less and less for a time, I think. Decisions, decisions! I just wish I could clone myself sometimes! ha! Love ya, sweet Ngina! Merry Christmas to you and your hubby!

      1. I hear you Beth! A clone would be fantastic! ha!

With a big project on the table, you just have to cut out more and more of the online presence. It’s a little hard cos that’s what we are used to – writing, blogging, interacting, answering mail – but seasons change and to move on with the things God places in our hearts, something has to give! Wishing you all the best and God’s wisdom and anointing as you write the new book! I can’t wait to read it!!
Of the things you have listed, I’d love for you to do a book review! 🙂 I know that can take longer, especially with your project, so feel free to work on it whenever you have time, even if its past the launch date. If you are okay, we can also give away two free digital versions of the book together with the review.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

And one more CONGRATULATIONS! Good job!

No blogging break for me, and no family or friends stopping by. I’m far too ill for visits, and blogging is the only social outlet I have.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New year, Beth. You deserve it.

  9. How exciting, Beth! Your forgiveness series taught me so much so I am looking forward to this.
I might have a semi-break but God keeps nudging and since family will be in and out writing is my chance to reflect and re-focus on Him.
I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas. Thank you for your friendship and encouragement. Love you!

  15. First, congratulations! I used to get jealous of other bloggers when they published a book. That was when I was very immature, like a few months ago haha! But seriously, now that I’ve actually formed cyber friendships with fellow bloggers, I realize that they’re all just like me. We’re all struggling, we’re all a mess and pretend not to be, we’re all trying to realize our dreams, and I’m truly happy to see someone’s hard work come to fruition! So, I’m not jealous, I’m very happy for you! And besides, you can’t be jealous of someone if you haven’t put the work in to do the same. I’m still working on mine…but it will come to pass, and I will do my happy dance too! Enjoy your much deserved break! Today I’ve posted a funny as well as poignant post. Merry Christmas, Beth! Oh, and even though I have absolutely no problems with unforgiveness (or acknowledging truth, apparently), I am signing up to get your book!
